Roger's Piano
is a factory authorized exclusive Schimmel dealer.
Over the years I have played every quality brand of piano produced in
the last 100 years, and have been a dealer for many of them. I have
played and owned thousands of pianos, and am very familiar with
Steinway, Bosendorfer, Mason and Hamlin, Bluthner, Grotrian, Bechstein,
Fuerich, and many others.
I have always been inclined to search for the finest pianos, in terms
of both cabinetry and touch and tone. At this level of very highest
quality it would be foolish and self serving to say one manufacturer is
better than another. All of these pianos perform at the highest level,
and the concert artist may have a preference for one over the other,
but at the end of the day they are all superb pianos. So which one to
buy? At Roger's Piano, value matters. What is the greatest value to the
consumer? As Larry Fine points out in his fine consumer guide book,
Schimmel is an MVP. Most valuable piano. In terms of what you get for
what you pay, no other piano can compare to a Schimmel. I can often
sell a Schimmel Grand Piano for less than the cost of an upright from
one of it's competitors (using the list above).
On our showroom floor we stock many Schimmel pianos. Please call us for
current inventory, and if you are looking for a particular model, we
work very close with Schimmel and oftentimes can get it for you.
